Can I create my own beer pong tournament?
Yes. Open the QR-PONG app, set the name, place and time, and the event is live. Hosting is free, nothing to download. You run the whole tournament from the same phone.
Do I need Excel or extra software to run a tournament?
No. No paper, no Excel, no second tool. You set the group stage and knockout in QR-PONG, and the bracket builds itself. Players track their own matches at the table, and the bracket updates in real time.
How do players find my event?
If you put it on the map, 100,000+ players can find your event in the QR-PONG app and sign up. You don't have to chase people with a spreadsheet.
Can I host a private event?
Yes. Private events stay off the map, so people nearby won't find them. Share it with whoever should play. Put it on the map when you want new players to show up.
Does this work for a house party, or only for big tournaments?
Both. House parties and birthdays, big brackets at festivals, bars and unis, and leagues over a season. You can also create an event just to find players nearby.
Do tournament matches count for Pong Rating?
Yes. Games at your event count toward Pong Rating, the same as Ranked. Wins and losses from the night land on the player's profile.
Do we need QR cups to host?
No. Host with the cups you already have. QR cups, or your logo on them, are optional. The tournament still runs without them.
